The system comprising of a quality electronic tacking machine, pneumatic pinch pleat former and laptop with Datapleat calculation software allows one operator to complete around 30 widths to be pleated per hour, some operators are completing 40 widths per hour. It is possible to achieve around 210 widths per day on the system, depending on materials and workflow).

The system successfully completes, single pinch pleats, double pinch pleats, triple pinch pleats and reverse pleats.

How it works:

Once the curtain has side hems done, is headed and folded the operator enters the flat panel width into the computer along with desired finish width, overlaps or returns and selects pinch pleat style. The software calculates the pleat former settings, displays the total number of pleats and the space between the pleats for the operators acceptance.
